DART rail network issue fixed after experiencing delays Wednesday evening

A network issue that caused delays to the DART rail Wednesday evening has been fixed.
According to a 7:53 p.m. X post, the network communication issue that caused 30 minute delays to the DART rail service was fixed. The post said trains have resumed normal operations, but it may take time for regular service to resume.

The outage was first reported around 5 p.m. Wednesday. DART’s website said a network outage was causing 30 minute delays in the rail service, which would likely be made worse by rush hour traffic. The site said DART operations and police worked in tandem at major junctions of the system to move traffic manually, as well as making sure gate arms were working properly at train junctions.
